Roger Dean Stadium announced its 2007 Spring Training schedule on Sunday. And though the Cardinals have not officially unveiled their spring slate for '07 for public consumption yet, RDS also put out a full St. Louis spring schedule -- home and away.
According to the stadium, which is the spring home of both the Cardinals and the Florida Marlins, the exhibition schedule kicks off on Monday, Feb. 26, with the apparently now-annual game between the Cardinals and Florida Atlantic University. That game starts at 12:05 p.m. CT. The first Grapefruit League game for the Cardinals is against the Marlins at RDS at 12:05 on Wednesday, Feb. 28. St. Louis will be considered the home team for that game.

The Redbirds' home schedule for the spring includes the Mets, Astros, Twins, Braves, Nationals, Dodgers and Orioles as well as Florida. The Cardinals make trips to play the Mets, Orioles, Dodgers, Twins, Braves and Nationals.

The Cardinals will have 15 games where they are the home team against Major League opponents, as well as three others where they are the "visitors" at Roger Dean against Florida. Counting the FAU game, St. Louis will play 19 games in Jupiter, Fla., this spring.

The Grapefruit League schedule ends for St. Louis on Thursday, March 29. The Cardinals have an exhibition game scheduled in Memphis against their Triple-A affiliate on Friday, March 30, and the regular season begins on Sunday, April 1, at home against the Mets.
