AND YOU'D THINK I'D BE "not surprised" WATCHING THIS GAME SINCE I HEARD ALL OF IT BEGINNING WITH THE 5TH INNING.... BUT WHOA!! IT WAS LIKE I HAD JUST EXPERIENCED THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!

anyway, that was INTENSE INTENSE INTENSE!!! gotta be one of the most ENTERTAINING games i've seen in a long time!! that's the kinda game that would make a non-baseball person become a fan!! it was WILDLY entertaining!! like a non-stop action flick! drama/comedy/suspense!!:biggrin:


WOW there was so much in that game i missed!!

while watching it, i thought "this is the kinda game NANNER and i need to be at, sitting in the LOGE section as close to the plate as possible...where we can see everything"

this was such an EMOTIONAL game OMG!! i don't think they meant it to be, but it certainly became one!!

I LOVED WHEN MARK J. GOT A HOMER AND THE DUGOUT WENT NUTS!!!!! (and by the way, did he look exceptionally HOT last night, or was it me???) HELLO!!!!!

and JohnValyourboyfriend is on FIRE!!!! i think he likes being on this team!!!!! :jump: man, he tries so hard, it's AWESOME!!!!

i bet mikey can't wait to get back in the lineup!!!

OH!! how bout that 7th inning (i think?) when guthrie stayed in after he got JD DREW out, so that he could get to EDMONDS...but first he had to pitch around ALBERT PUJOLS, the righty!! did you hear the tension between Keith Hernandez and Fran Healy??? GEEZ, i thought they were gonna ARGUE and break into a fist fight! (reminded me of my "baseball discussions" with a certain person :hmm: ) ......how fran healy totally supported bobby v's decision to keep guthrie in (take the chance and load the bases, so that he could get to EDMONDS)

AND THE STRATEGY WORKED!! I LOVED IT!!!

(but i noticed keith sorta had this *annoyed* tone in his voice...as if he hated being WRONG...)

HEY!! did you notice they did NOT show the top 8th innie??? cuz that was when strickland pitched a really great innie, got the 1-2-3..... they fastforwarded it to get to Mark J's homer..... and how bout that SWING!!! didn't look like a homer at first but that baby just kept going!!!!

HELLO I COULD RAMBLE ON ABOUT THIS STUPID GAME!! (well, it was not at all stupid, but you know what i mean!)

I LOVE THE METS!! I LOVE THIS TEAM SO MUCH!!! LAST NIGHT'S GAME REMINDED ME OF WHY I LOVE THEM SO MUCH....... cuz they make me LAUGH, they surprise the heck outta me, they entertain the sh*t outta me, and somehow they always bring out the most BIZARRE in all the teams they play!!! (ever notice that??)

Did you watch that Victory Lineup at the end? Mikey was out there, just greeting everybody and smiiiiiiiiilin'!.... just as wide a smile as could be. And all the guys goin' through the line. Jeromy Burnitz was about jumping up and down, and grinning bigtime. Man, I just love the way he hits. And Mark Johnson just looked too hot to be believed. Whoooooooo, BABY!!! :toungue:

It has been so cool lately to see Johnmynewboyfriend Valentin playing his natural shortstop position. Man. He plays smart. And he's so smart at the plate.... you can almost see his mind working through his body as he's watching what's coming out of the pitcher's hand. And that pitch that hit him looked mighty painful.

Can we talk about Keith Hernandez and his (okay, on edit here, because I forgot we can't say the B word.) b*tchy voice when he's got something to say that he feels is sooooooo right? (Don't get me started.) Is it just me, or does he get really whiney/b*tchy sounding?
