View Full Version : Triple PLay Baseball for PS2
I read the review of TPB on ign.com and it stated that if you like 17-10 games, then this game is for you. I beg to differ. I have played 71 games none simmed with the Red Sox and it seems the pitching has the big advantage. Examples: Pedro 11-1 0.74 ERA, Nomo 12-0 1.34 ERA, Cone 7-2 2.71 ERA Lowe 2-1 24 SV 0.82 ERA Schourek 3-0 1 SV 0.38 ERA. My batting is a little inflated but not that much. Ramirez .329 21 HR 53 RBI Nomar .399 22 HR 46 RBI. I have a couple of slumpers Offerman .242 9 HR 21 RBI but has 20 SB. Daubach (made player)has been hot of late and is hitting .279 7 HR 16 RBI. My record is 56-15 and I am running away with the East 11.5 up on Toronto 22.5 up on NY. It's not the hitting that is is inflated, it's the great pitching I'm getting. Anyone else has similar results???

i have triple play for pc i just got it though so i havent played a whole season, but i noticed that if you time it right seems like the power hitters can drive them. pretty realistic though.

When Pete Sure-wreck is 3-0 with a 0.38 ERA, the pitching is inflated. haha
I have TP2001 for the computer, but I prefer Sammy Sosa High Heat 2001. I like it a lot better.
