The Padres had a much needed win tonight by beating Larry Bowa's Philadelphia Phillies 6-4 to even their record to 11-11 on the young season. Pitcher Bobby Jones earned the win. He is now 2-1. Jones allowed six hits and three earned run in six innings of pitching. Closer Trevor Hoffman earned his seventh save.
Pitcher Brian Lawrence is 3-1 after starting five games this year. His ERA is 2.29. He leads in innings pitched with 35.1. Pitcher Brett Tomko leads the team in strikeouts with 24. And he has an ERA of 1.40.
So watch out Arizona-my Padres are coming after you lol
