It was a great day to be at the Ballpark. The 65 degree weather and no sun with a cool breeze made for the most enjoyable time. Plus the guys I went with knew about some free parking and we got that, so it was a cool day. Oh yeah and the Rangers won!!!! They fell down 6-0 in the first 3 innings, behind very poor play from Mike Lamb who was Catching his first big league game. He made like 3 errors or pass balls in one inning, and 3 runs scored. Then he was bouncin the ball to 2nd base on steals, which is a total no-no. So he got yanked. Anyway, the Rangers scored 7 in the 4th or 5th, then they gave up 2 more runs at the hand of Rocker in the 6th inning. They let him throw to 1 batter, he gave up a hit and they pulled him. It was a wild pitching day. They were using everybody. But in the 8th we got 4 more runs and ended up winning 11-9, and a save by Irabu. You guys might want to take a look at Irabu in your Fantasy teams. He is probably available.

I picked up Irabu three days ago, and he's turning into a good investment. He has had two saves since I picked him up.

He's also had a decent amount of strikeouts. I guess that forkball is working pretty well?

A-Rod becomes second-youngest to reach 250 homer. He hit his 250th career home run Tuesday
night to become the second-youngest player to reach that plateau.
