SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 14) - A woman who competed in a radio station's contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner's office said Saturday.

Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.

Yes I blame the radio station.

These stupid contests they have are ridiculous. People don't listen to the radio because they want to hear these retarded announcers doing some dumbshit. That's why ppl have gone to satellite radio because at least then you have a choice of 100% music, or 100% talk radio.

I couldn't agree more. I hate radio DJs that think we tune in to listen to them try and be funny. They usually do the same stupid stunts like having listener make prank phone calls on the air. It is never funny and always ignorant. I wish they would just shut the **** up. If I want to listen to talk radio, I will listen to ESPN radio or Howard Stern.
