Manager Bob Brenly told the Arizona Republic in its April 25 edition that first baseman Erubiel Durazo (fractured right hamate bone) is close to returning to the club. Durazo will likely make a minor league rehab start next week, according to the newspaper. The time off has also given Durazo time to heal his left elbow. Brenly says Durazo could play right field when he returns to the team. Durazo took approximately 75 swings in an April 24 session. "I want to get healthy," Durazo told the newspaper. "I'm not thinking about when I will return."
I hope he comes back healthy he had a great Spring Training I thought he was going to have a breakout year
