The Pittsburgh Steelers plan to name Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin as their new head coach, ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirmed Saturday night.
Sources told Mortensen that the team would announce Tomlin as coach either Sunday or Monday. Late Sunday night, the Associated Press reported that Tomlin had accepted the job, and ESPN.com's John Clayton reported that the Steelers were in negotiations with Tomlin's agent to finalize a contract.

While I hate this hire from the Vikings fan stand point I knew it was coming. This guy did everything right the second he came to the Vikings right up to him going to the Steelers. If he can get a good OC the Steelers should be a tough team next year.
I like the hell out of Tomlin and now I am a big Steelers fan!!!!!
