Batting It Around With Guerrero
Stars hitting coach Sandy Guerrero, who now makes his home in Huntsville, stopped by the office last week and spent some time chatting wtih radio announcer Brett Pollock about last season, this season and some of the players he has worked with over the last four seasons with the Stars.
Pollock: "Looking back now after five months following the Stars tremendous second half turnaround and trip to the Finals, what was the key to the second half success and how special was it for you to be a part of it?"
Guerrero: "The key was that the players started believing in themselves, relying on each other and playing as a team. The turnaround was truly amazing. Looking back at the 2006 season…it is like a dream."
