MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers today named Brian Anderson their new television play-by-play announcer for games on FSN North, it was announced by Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President-Business Operations.

"Brian is a talented and gifted announcer. His style is engaging, his energy level is high, and he clearly is passionate about his work on and off camera," Schlesinger said. "His talents go well beyond describing the action as he gets the most out of his analyst partners and interview subjects. We believe that he and Bill Schroeder will be an outstanding team."

The Milwaukee Brewers will begin three days of winter activity this afternoon when they announce their new television play-by-play man at a 3 o'clock media conference at Miller Park.

That announcement will not be a surprise. Word already leaked out that the Brewers selected Brian Anderson of The Golf Channel to team with analyst Bill Schroeder on the team's TV broadcasts. Anderson replaces Daron Sutton, who left to take a TV job with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

As part of their "Winter Warm-Up," the Brewers also will have a pair of autograph sessions at the FanZone Store at Miller Park. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Dave Bush, Francisco Cordero, Bill Hall and Rickie Weeks are scheduled to sign autographs, followed by Chris Capuano, Prince Fielder and Brian Shouse from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
