Weaver pitched another strong game, this time reaching the ninth. However, he ran out of gas after 115 pitches and the Tigers couldn't mount much of an attack against Suppan.
I still find Weaver's outing encouraging. That's two straight games he's pitched into the ninth. Hopefully, that's a sign of things to come.
