Well Leiter is falling apart...1st Cedeno drops a ball that he should have easily made:angry:
Then Al hits the next 2 batters including the pitcher....So the bases are loaded....
Then a little dribbler back to Al and he cant handle the ball.....
Zona scores a run without a hit:angry:

You know, I've noticed something. Keith Hernandez normally annoys the H out of me when he's in the booth. But when he's with Fran Healy, he seems to loosen up and not whine as much. They have this kind of funny banter and they make each other laugh, and it's not half as annoying as when Keith is in the booth with Tom Seaver. I don't mind Tom Seaver in the booth, but when it's the pair of them, it's like this competition of who knows more, and it gets to be, like..... "WILL THE PAIR OF YOU SHUT UP OR I'LL TURN ON THE RADIO AND LISTEN TO THE FAN!"
Anyone else notice this?

omigosh! aside from the fact that i was 0 for 4 today ( :hmm: :crying2: )(i did a jay p...trying too hard...just couldn't get on base!) ( :pout: ) i really really LOVED playing and i loved the challenge of it all.....it was so much freakin fun.....but i was so frustrated with my game....so i had all this crazy energy afterwards and wanted to beat the frustration & negativity outta me..... so that's what imma do tomorrow:) practice some more and hit the heavy bag and try to calm the F down! I love Al showing all of his emotion out there.
I just knew you would love softball. Can't wait to throw the ball around sometime.
Did you oil up your glove? Makes it all nice and flexible. (I finally oiled mine up after Tony kept asking me everytime he spoke to me, "Have you oiled up your glove yet?") I'm gonna do it again so it gets even softer. I've just done it once, and it needs a few times, I think.
This team, man. Did you see Grant Roberts, that stud, in the dugout when he went in? Just taking off his hat, throwing out his chest. He's just become so good. Remember the first game he played for the Mets? They brought him up and his first time out there he just got shelled? A totally different pitcher now. Just confident and steely.
And, may I say, HOT?!?!? Our team is so hot. :lust:

Did you oil up your glove? Makes it all nice and flexible.
i know nothing about this oiling business, so you will have to show me.......
oh, it's gonna be so fun playing catch with you! we should bring our gloves to Shea and throw a little bit before the game....
and WHEN we get tx to the orange level (so we can go to BP!!), we can try and sit in foul territory and dive for those foul balls! :jump: woo hoo!

Hey, Cyn!!! That's a cool idea!!! Sitting in the orange seats with our gloves! Ooooh! Ooohh! We can sit on the right field side and I can drool over Jeromy in right field!!! And if a foul ball comes our way that he has a chance to catch, we'll make sure we're out of the way so he can catch it!!! We will, of course, have to be sitting in the front row. I'm thinking now of last season when, who was it, Matt Lawton or Timo... I think it was Matt Lawton, who was going for a foul ball and Julie was sitting there and the ball went in back of them, but Matt leaned over and tapped her on the head with his glove, just to be funny. It was pretty funny.
So, let's do that.:biggrinpa

Oh, and I'll show you how to oil up your glove. Or, I'll tell you. Just buy some "Glove Treatment", or "Glove Oil" at a sporting goods store. Modell's, Sports Authority, whatever, and the directions are right on the bottle. Just work that oil into the glove, all over it. (I learned this from Tony. He's good for something. )
Geez. I can't believe it's past 12:30!!! These games in the West are so weird, because I get all into the game, and then it's over, and the Mets win, and I feel like it should be 10:00 instead of after 12:00!
:uhoh:
So I'm going to bed now.
Nighty-night!!!!!

I KNOW! isn't it weird to have this late-ass game and when it's done you're like all wired and could go for another couple hours...but then the clock is screaming "TIME TO GO TO BED!!" at your face and you're like all time-warped and sh*t...... :nut:

I should be home by 10 - 10:30, depending on when he lets us go. We've been finishing early and he's been getting us out of there, which is good. But I'm so tired. *sigh* I just want to sleep for 3 days.
