Roger Clemens is just too arrogant for me. He's a great pitcher though.

Anyone who hits 500 HR's is automatically in the HOF, doesn't make them great players in my opinion.

I think 500 HRs is pretty easy for players today, they ought change it to 600 Hrs to be in HF automatically instead.

Mark Grace just missed my top 10. I used to love watching him hit. Will Clark was another close one.

I myself did not get a chance to truly appreciate the many greats of the past, but just to name a few in my lifetime...
Ken Griffey Jr. - most beautiful swing I ever laid eyes on
Mark Grace - nobody played the first base position better
Barry Bonds - with or without steroids the only player i know that could scare you with one ferocious swing of the bat...lets not forget 40/40
Mark McGwire - brought the game of baseball back into our living rooms overnight
Kirk Gibson/Orel Hershiser - without them the A's would have ruled 88'
Greg Maddux - even to this day there is nothing more beautiful than watching his 2 seamer freeze another lefty
George Brett - It was between him and schmidt, ill take the lefty
tony gwynn - in this day in age you would be hard pressed to see an overweight superstar who could hit, run and play defense the way he did
troy glaus - Again im just in love with the beauty of this game, and when glaus unloads on letter high fastballs there is nothing better to watch
justin morneau - there is just something about the kid that makes me think another MVP is in his future
You may notice an abundance of lefthanded hitters, the reasoning is simple...lefties just make the game look good, add to that the limited amount of them and it just makes for a better story!

I don't think 500 will get somebody in anymore. Palmeiro is a perfect example. He is not HOF material and has 500 HRs. A player should not get in for being mediocre for a long time.
