I haven't seen a world series since 1997. for that very reason. If the yankees are in it i don't watch it. Unless it's the cubs or the tribe.

It's a little early to tell as of right now, but I don't see anybody beating the Mariners right now. They've got the pitching and hitting. I really don't think they Yankees will do it again this year. Just my opinion.

I thought the yankees didn't have a shot last season, and they won. One thing I've noticed with them, as sick as I am of them, is that they're pro's pros. They know how to turn it on, especially in the post-season. They have experience and know how to do the little things to help themselves and they take advantage of every opportunity they get. I've seen it time and again. And yes, they will purchase what they need by July 31 to ensure a playoff berth. For these reasons I chose the Yankees, and yes, it hurts to do so.

I've been impressed with the Red Sox this season too. They've not had Manny, Nomar, and Pedro all healthy at the same time all season and are still hot in the play-off race. I'd love to see this team win the AL East, and it's a possibility if the aforementioned players get healthy and stay healthy.
