Mets Rumors?

I dont know if anyone else has heard the rumor that the Mets are interested in Jermaine Dye and Mark Buerhle. I knew about Buerhle, but this is the first I heard of Dye. Honestly I think the Mets would be much better without Dye, he really is nothing to special, last year was more of a fluke than anything else. I mean Green, Beltran, Chavez and maybe Lastings thats not to bad of an outfield if you ask me.

I would LOVE to see them get Mark though, he needs a change and I think the Mets would be a good fit for him.

I wouldn't mind Buehrle in the Mets' rotation. And I've always like Dye in the past; I just don't think he's necessary. The Mets have a plethora of current, injured, and up and coming outfielders.

The most popular rumors send Milledge and either Pelfrey or Humber to Chicago. But I've also heard that they're asking for Carlos Gomez, but the Mets are declaring him untouchable, and rightfully so.

I've also heard Heilman's name linked with this rumor. I've offered to include Scott Schoenweiss in the package, but White Sox fans do NOT want him back!

Dye would be good
