Ooooh, tough series! Should be good. Home court advantage for Detroit could give them the series. Celts beat em pretty good this year at Fleet, and lost 2 close ones in Detroit. Gametime 3pm.

GO CELTICS!!!!!!!!

Haha! That was ugly. Celts were cold. Oh well, one game, I won't vent yet. Detroit played a great game!

pp, the Pistons won't get two games like that from Michael Curry. He is known as a non-factor offensively. All the C's need to do is hit a few more shots, especially 'toine and Pierce, although I'd love to see them take the ball to the goal more. The Pistons are playing them to shoot the threes. A drive and dish would seem to create easy scoring opporutnities. Cutting down on the TOs would help, too, but I am starting to realize that isn't going to happen.

The Celts did force a number of turnovers, got a decent number of first half rebounds and did make that late charge, so there are some positives from the first contest. This series is far from over, even if the Pistons win Game Two. I expect a much better performance from the Celtics next time.

I do have to give some love to my local guys, too. The Pistons are tough defensively and have a very productive bench. When Stack gets help on offense, the Pistons are the best team in the East, imo. They advanced to this series after winning a Game Five when Stackhouse got only five points. I don't know how many other teams could get that little from their superstar in a deciding game and win.

Big speculation today is that Iverson may be available after the season. I guess the Sixers owner and Brown read him the riot act after the loss. The Pistons want AI a year or two ago and made an offer to the Sixers. People are wondering if The Answer would fit in here? I guess he and Stackhouse have a much better relationship now.

Any deal for AI probably would need to include Stackhouse IMO.

Trots-Did you see Cedric Maxwell and Lambeer almost came to blows on Sunday? Cornbread was on Sports Xtra in Boston last night, they were showing those 80's brawls between C's and P's. Remember when Isaah, Lambeer and Rodman knocked down Bird when he was taking a shot? And then Parrish punched Lambeer in the face and knocked him down? *Ah, memories*

Well anyways, I guess Lambeer threw his cigarette at Cedric and Cedric was pissed! They had words and someone broke it up. Cedric on the news was saying how much he still despises Lambeer and Isaah, it was funny stuff! Nice to know the old guys still care.

About Iverson, who I like BTW, I'm betting Larry Brown goes before he does.

PP, I remember those C's/Pistons battles all too well. Of course, I also remember those C's/Lakers battles, C's/76ers battles, C's/insert team here battles. You get into a lot of wars when you win sixteen titles. Everyone gets their run at you.

As for Laimbeer's latest actions, all I can say is I really respect Dumars and Isiah.
