This forum is full of tremendous insight that I would be honored to have as part of a new project I am working on. If you are at all interested, I can be reached at thepoweralley@gmail.com or through the site in my signature. You can find more information there. This is not for profit or anything like that.

Well I'm not much for Blogs, but you might want to contact a mod about this post because I'm pretty sure it falls under the rules of spamming, so this might get closed.

Here are the rules if you have not already gone over them.

I made sure I read through the rules thoroughly. They mention advertising with the intent of selling a product or turning a profit. I'm not selling anything and I'm not making profits. I'm a long-time follower of this board, first-time register. This forum isn't being used for advertising purposes. I simply wanted to request the assistance of the well-educated, well-mannered AddictSports posters while I try to get my blog off the ground. No harm intended.

Ok the only part of the rules that makes me think this might be against them is this line. Even though there is no profit to be made, per say there is ads at the bottom of the page and you are promoting your site, which to my understanding is against the rules. I'm not a mod so I really dont know if they will mind or not, but I just wanted to give you a heads up. Not to mention, with this being your first post it doesnt help any

Rule #1:Spamming:
Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, quasi-legal services, or to promote another site.
Please, no posts where your only intent is to promote your product, business, or anything else when the clear motive is to use the message boards in an attempt to turn a profit. In some cases, an exception can be made. If in doubt, contact myself or any of the other moderators at the site.

I think your best bet is to contact the admin to see what he says about it...you at least seem good natured about it, which I can appreciate :) And hey, if you ask nicely he may allow you to do it anyway, so that'd be your best bet right now

I do not consider this spam. Ghostrider was very appropriate in explaining his intention, and specified that he is not looking to sell anything.

I don't blog. I spend so much friggin time on so many friggin sites that I just don't have time to get involved in blogs!! But good luck!
