Yeah, this is sick. They are saying that they hung, drown and beat dogs that lost.
THe thing that is PO'ing me is some people/players are saying it is a way of life down south, which is just bull. I know it goes on, but that does not make it right and anyone involved should be dealt with in the cruelest manner. I consider this right up there with child and woman abuse. If I had time i would go into a total rant about this, but I dont at the moment.
I'm just waiting for some people to come in here saying "he has not been found guilty yet". Yes I know that and guess what.......I dont think he will be just because of his fame, but its hard to believe he is not involved in it.
I really have to wonder if certain players are going to gun for him during the season? I pray that someone takes him out for good, clean or dirty............................................. .................................................. .................................
Now I will wait for someone to say, "BUT HE HAS NOT BEEN FOUND GUILTY" or me wishing someone guns for him this year is wrong. Well hanging and drowning a dog is even worse.

When I heard about the hanging and drowning part that really made me mad. I'm not a lover of animals, but the stuff they did to these dogs is horrible. If Vick gets suspended we still have Joey Harrington to back him up.

Oh man this guy just makes me sick, I hope they fight him to the death in prison. I hope he is struck down with every kind of cancer there is. People like him should be lined up and shoot, and the fact that he has money and fame, makes me even sicker. I really HATE people that do this kind of stuff to innocent animals. The whole process is cruel from how they raise these dogs to how they fight them. All the dogs want is their owners approval and they will do anything their masters say. I have a pit bull, that i got when she was a puppy, she was rescued from a life a fighting, I would never fight my dog, i don't care how much money is involved. I really hope his balls are crushed, and with that I would like to say Michael Vick your a piece of crap, I will pray on your downfall.

As a Pit bull owner and lover, enough bad things cannot happen to Vick. May he be chained to a "breeding" post in a cell in the sexual predator unit.:)

*&$#@! Michael Vick and the pitbull he came in on.....
He's a piece of garbage just like any other thuggin, hip hop hearin, dog fightin,
criminally behavin piece of garbage from any 'hood - he's just rich....lol.
Mike Vick is not unlike any of the many thugged-out, criminally minded pieces of sh** in professional sports today. I hope he goes to jail and learns something for all of this (but of course, he won't).

I disagree that "who he is" will save him in any way. This is a FEDERAL case.... This is serious shit.

its lookin like he will plea deal now. i guess he figures one year of prison is better than 20 years (what he could get under RICO guidelines)

Well he pleaded Guilty today...............from what I'm hearing he might get less than a year in jail. IF he gets that little time justice will not be served, 5 years yes..............1 or less no.
Hell he shouldnt have even had the chance to get a plea deal

his attorneys were trying to get it to be less then a year but they said 18-36 months and in a federal case you have to serve 85 percent of your time so vick could be looking at 2 years in prison and who knows if the nfl will consider that time served or suspend him when hes out which means he might not be playing football until hes 30 with 3 years off and for someone who relys on his legs and with his reputation he may never be a starter in the nfl again

i know hes bad to do that but he feels really bad about it and when u get addictied to suttin u cant stop so i dont think he shood get a long time in prison i think like 6 moths
So because he feels bad he should get less time for many hanis federal crimes  Now when someone feels bad about their own stupidity they should get sympathy? So if someone murders your mother they should get less time because they feel sorry..............and I dont want to hear the crap that humans and dogs are different, because animals are like family and torturing is torturing no matter how you turn it, it is sick and twisted.
Where you get he is addicted to it is beyond me, how you get addicted to violence is beyond me as well. I have not heard a single thing about him being addicted to dog fighting. If Vick is addicted to dog fighting he should get more time in jail or time in a mental home, because the odds are pretty good that he will commit some other violent crime..............and if you dont believe me on the link between cruelty to animals and other acts of violence just look it up and you will see what I mean.
Now in addition to the cruelty part, what about the RICO chargers that were going to be brought against him, what about the RUNNING of Bad Newz Kennals and illegal gambling, so yet again because he feels bad he should get less of a sentence for break major laws? How anyone can feel sympathy for such an idiot is nuts. How can you feel bad for a guy that lies, tortures animals, and breaks numerous federal laws...........Vick is just a criminal and should be treated as one, not a star gone bad..............hell was not even a good QB, but that is another issue entirely. He made the choice to hang around the wrong people and he himself made bad decisions there is one else to blame except himself. I love the people that say this is a race issue...........wait any time an African American does something wrong it is some how a race issue (no I'm not racist), then there are the other people stating that dog fighting is a sport.............ummm no it is a federal crime. Oh and one of my all time favorites are the people who say "Vicks life and his family is ruined because of some stupid dogs.............it is not like they are humans", ok so the dogs being killed and forced to do this screwed Vick??? Ummmmm no Vick screwed himself and that is that.
So lets sum this up. Vick breaks the following laws and there is probably more that we dont know about:
Dog fighting
RICO
Illegal Gambling
Cruelty to Animals
Now the minimum to my understanding is 5 years in jail (I could be wrong, please correct me if I am) and you think Vick should get 6 months because he feels bad.................now that is absurd if you ask me. If you were involved in this and going to jail do you think you would get 6 months for feeling bad.............I think not.
