The Sox sent a scout to Seattle to watch Shawn Estes pitch against the Mariners.

Estes would be a great pickup. Much better than Pedro Astacio.

Not sure.. but if we could land him and keep him in Boston, I'd be elated!

Yep, he's 28 and he's having a pretty good year.

7-4, 64 SO, .246 OBA, and a 3.48 ERA.

If the Sox are serious about acquiring another starter, forget about Pedro Astacio, and go after Estes.
