Who do you guys think is the most underrated player in the MLB today?

Fireball

Chone Figgins has been killing teams in the leadoff spot this year. A .334 hitter with phenomenal speed, and he doesn't even make the All-Star team? And you rarely here his name mentioned alongside the other great hitters this season, Magglio, Ichiro, etc.

I think Jeff Franceour is. In just his second full season he is a very consistent hitter. Now batting .303.

Since Fireball took who I was thinking of, I would have to say Dustin Pedoria or Mighty Mouse I as like to call him. He is hitting .313, 30 RBI, 42 runs and only 29 strikes in 314 AB's..............not to bad for your rookie year. Youklis is right up there as well

Cano is awesome, I have said it in a few other threads and I will say it here, Cano is going to be the best second baseman in the game.

i agree. He is already one of the top defensive right fielders. he is also very clutch if you look at his situational hitting.

I must say Hanley ramerez realy puts up unbeleaveable stats and doesn't get proportional press to a guy like Jose Reyes

I'll go out on a limb and say that since 2000, he's been more valuable to the Yanks than Jeter.

I would agree to get such production from a catcher
