Dare I ask if there are any other Wings fans here? I see there are a few Avs fans. UH OH!!!

I follow the Wings to an extent, but I'm not a huge fan of theirs.

I think I qualify as the resident Wings fan. Of course, I also qualify as one of two resident Islanders fans, too.

How sweet is this: Chris Pronger missing the rest of the playoffs after getting laid out by Stevie Y!? WOO HOO!

I think the Bloozers are now officially dead meat. Now if the Avs can just get their stuff together for two more wins, we may have a series worth watching!
I guess I'm the Avs fan by default...I seem to have this whole time zone to myself ;)

Pronger missing the rest of the series certainly bodes well for Detroit, but it's far from something I would be celebrating.
Here's hoping Colorado can beat San Jose ...

I don't think anyone is celebrating Pronger's injury, just the opportunity his absence provides. Although, I shouldn't speak for I Are. Even with Pronger, the Blues were looking at a 3-1 series favoring the Wings.

To me, it just came across that way after Baboon said "Woo Hoo!". I may get excited about the opportunity his absence provides, but I wouldn't be saying Woo Hoo about it.

Hey Trots -- did you see that Darcy Tucker is out for the rest of the playoffs?
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy... :hmm:

Yes, I did see that, LF. I understand the Toronto faithful are all up in arms over the "cheapshot" that knocked Tucker out. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I was not celebrating the injury, I was celebrating the loss of Pronger (the best defenseman in the NHL). Having played plenty of organized hockey myself, I'd never cheer another player's injury, regardless of how I feel about that player.
