John Russell is going to be named Bucco manager according to the Bucco's website. Does anyone besides me feel like this is the same old management with new faces? One of McClendons Base coach's? The one we all complained about for making terrible decisions at third base? He was Minor League manager of the year before the Bucco's got him back then and seems to have done well since, but this just does not feel right. Ken Macha nearly begged for the job in the media! A proven winner is not even interviewed and they hire Russell instead? I hate to say this, but fans around here do not care about winning anymore. They fill the park for fireworks, concerts and bobbleheads. If this turns out to bee as bad as I feel it is right now, I suspect I will be done with the Pirates.
