I knew we could win on the road! Unfortunately I couldn't watch it. :pissed:

My mom is visiting till Saturday. I'm missing all my sports. :crying2: This must be what hell feels like.

Celts win 86-77.

The score is 66-64. Guess what quarter it's in? Uhh, it's over.

Can anyone score? 86-74 in Game 2 and 66-64 in Game 3. Man.

I am glad Boston won.

Probably the ugliest playoff game I have ever seen. The Detroit announcers kept praising each team's defense, but guys were missing lay-ups. Of course, there was the usual horrible shot selection helping out those defenses, too.

The C's have to be very happy. They lead the series, 2-1, have another home game Sunday and neither Pierce or Walker have got their offensive game on track. If either catch fire, the series might be over.

Conversely, the Pistons haven't played well at all and almost won this road game. If Stackhouse's desperation shot came a second earlier we may have an entirely different series. The Pistons have to be fairly confident heading into Sunday afternoon.

I keep thinking these two teams are going to have a Mavs/Kings type game eventually (where both score tons of points), but it sure doesn't look that way. Are the "D's" really that good or have the players, Stackhouse, Pierce and Walker, in particular, just feeling the pressure of their first serious playoff exposure?

I caught the last minute, and I'm thinking, geez, low scoring game in the 3rd, meanwhile it was the end of the game. D? I think not, inability for either team to hit a friggin shot. Lowest scoring game since 54.:barf:

Oh well, Let's go C's!

Celts won 90-79. They're in a good position to take this series. Antwoin had a very good game.

Although I only saw the highlights, this is more of what I expected from the Celtics. Walker getting 30, Pierce another 25. Anytime Delk is a contributor the C's chances have to improve dramatically.

However, the Pistons appear to have lost whatever it was (chemistry, luck, desire???) from the regular season. Even their personnel rotation seems out of whack. It's too bad the fans across the country aren't really seeing both teams at their best. Maybe that's because both teams are new to the playoffs or, perhaps, they are providing difficult match-ups for each other.

In the end, I'm happy to see the Celtics winning again. One more to go.

I think these 2 teams just match up well. I can't imagine another reason for the incredibly low-scoring games. I don't think the fans are getting robbed though, I kind of liken these games to pitching duels.

Okay, I'm trying to put a positive spin on this.

Forget pitchers, pp. It's gotta be great goaltending.
