FANTASY Dr X
12-12-2007, 02:34 PM
"Both the Dragon and the good Doctor enjoyed a decent week that saw the Dragon go 12-4 to improve to 126-82 while the Dr. finally took the season lead with a 14-2 outing that has him standing at 128-80 on the season. A 2-game lead is what the Doc now has, but he knows that won't last long with the Dragon fuming with rage looking to regain the lead. The Dragon says: Not wanting to beat around the bush this week, I’m going to just get right to it. Time is running out for my 16-0 week. So let's give it another shot."
Sample game:
Jacksonville Jaguars(9-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers(9-4)
Silver Dragon - The Steelers have a good team, they have a lot of talent, they have a decent record, but yet they still find ways to lose games they shouldn’t. Then last week, they failed to find a way in what could very well have been the last opportunity to end a perfect season for New England . Jacksonville has lost their four games to only three teams because of two losses to 11-2 Indy. Both teams have high hopes of a post season and control their own destiny at this point. It’s going to come down to who wants it more.
Jaguars continue to sink their claws into a playoff berth.
Fantasy Doc - Jacksonville keeps winning to stay behind the Colts in the AFC South and Pittsburgh keeps managing to stay atop the North thanks to an earlier few games cushion. After encountering the “Out of space” New England Patriots, any other opponent is going to look like a practice-squad opponent for the Steelers. Pittsburgh will celebrate this win at home in bad weather conditions that will certainly be better welcomed than the “Hurricane Patriot” they just endured.
"Will the Dragon regain his season-long lead back playing from behind for the first time this year? Or will the Doc eat up the clock as the season winds down? The foundation is certainly set with the Dragon taking a 5-game differential approach this week.
