Reviewing all the terrible teams through 15 weeks of the 2007 NFL season, the award for most horrendous belly flop goes to Eric “what happened to the genius?” Mangini and the New York Jets. As they prepare to get diaper-rashed by the Patriots this weekend, the 2007 Jets’ Report Card has taken a 180 degree turn from last year. In ’06, they ended the season winning five of six and a surprising playoff berth. They had the runner up for coach of the year, a tremendous draft class and core of talent, and an organization on the upswing.
