Derek went 3-2 on the picks last week. Jacksonville squeaked out a win over Pittsburgh and the Giants disappointed which is nothing new. These are not necessarily the 5 best games, but the 5 games that will be the most influential in shaping the various divisions: GAME 1 ...
Philadelphia (6-8) at New Orleans (7-7) – Two teams that are very perplexing. Philadelphia is 6-8, but they went 1-1 against Dallas this season, lost to Seattle by 4, New England by 3, and Green Bay by 3. They also lost 2 consecutive games with Feely at QB. This is a team that could easily be 9-5 or 10-4 had McNabb stayed healthy all year and had the breaks bounced a little differently. The Saints have lost 4 in a row, won 4 in a row, lost 3 of 4, and now won 2 in a row. I like the Eagles in this game. The Saints are 3-4 at home. They struggle to cover down field throws and will have to bring safeties up to help with Westbrook. I look for the Eagles receivers to have a big day. Winner: Eagles
