Boy, oh, boy

Only three starters in the lineup Saturday night against the Yankees. Everyone else is hurting. A bunch on the DL and some just nicked up.

Ortiz should be activated this week and Rivas just went on a rehab assignment. Mientkiewicz had a CAT scan that showed a strained ligament in his wrist and he's going to try and play through it. Koskie will be out for two weeks +. Guzman is better but still has some soreness in his knee and ankle.

Out of the whole infield, only one starter in the lineup.

It's gotta get better.

Its never a good time for injuries, especially with the Yanks in town. :ohno:

Brad Radke has to come out of the game in the second inning after suffering a groin injury. Early reports have him headed for the DL.


The good news is that we won 3-2!

Mientkiewicz re-injures his wrist in BP and is sent back to MPLS from the road trip for more evaluation. He recieved a cortizone shot today. He will miss the Yanks series, this weekend, for sure.


The good news is we took 3 of 4 from KC!
