Did anyone catch Star Wars yet??

I have seen no post about this yet, so I guess I will ask. Did anyone camp out to catch the first showing of it? If so, how long did you stay out there? On our local news they said people were out there weeks ago. That is just crazy. I am just going to wait for the lines to die down, or for it to come out on DVD, my home theater is just a good as the movies, plus I can watch it over and over again.

Does anyone have any reviews to give???

i haven't heard anything like that here in ny but i'm sure it's happening...... although i do know there is some kind of STAR WARS CONVENTION or festival or something here in Brooklyn this saturday...... Jen (my almost-sistah-in-law) has a cousin coming down from Boston with her b/f to attend the convention (apparently they're hardcore Star Wars fans)...... i think it's an all day thing.....they invited me to go but i think i'll pass! can you imagine, an entire day of STAR WARS everything???? :uhoh:


i'll probly watch the movie in a few months when all the hoopla dies down......:)

Spiderman is a must see, what are you waitin for lady????? I would take ya if you wer closer to TX!!! It is definitely worth a matinee price.

The people here camped on the sidewalks at some movie theaters for weeks. I guess the weather has been good enough for it, but it is just a movie. Right! I am not a Star Wars fresk at all. But I know of a few that are friends.

Spiderman was great!! Can't wait for the DVD to come out.

I'll probably see Star Wars next week. I have no desire to fight angry mobs just to see a movie. I can wait two weeks. I saw Spidey this past Monday night at 6:00. The theater was DEAD. :)

i'm going to see Star Wars at 1. i haven't seen spidey yet, that can wait... but i have to see star wars now! i just can't wait!!! when episode I came out, my sis's bf stayed out on line over night for tix for me, him, 2 of my friends, and like 5 of his friends. we didn't get the first showing though, but we got the second... was at like 9am. this movie is looking way better than that one, so i'm excited! plus, being in this lil hick town, no need to sit outside all night for tix lol

OMG! That was the most awesomest movie ever! i finished watching it 20 mins ago and i wanna see it again! i still have such an excited rush from it, u'd think i was on some kinda drug or some sh*t. i think i may ago again tomorrow :uhoh: :biggrin:

btw... anakin was HOOOOOOOOOT! :love: :P there's so many things i would love to do to that boy, but i can't mention on here :uhoh:

I had someone else buy my ticket but the usher said that particular movie showing had been sold out for 3 days and there were HUGE lines to see it....

They had a special version....You know how most movies are on film, well apparently this one was on a special DVD type and the picture was just amazing...The clearest picture I have ever seen at a theatre....

i totally agree... episode I was like the worst movie ever made compared to episode II. i was so pissed when it ended, i wanted more! i was smilin' soooooo much during the movie, i was all happy and giddy. it even made me cry when anakin went back to tatoonie, and i don't cry easily. i fell in love with that movie from like the first scene. there was so much action---it was just amazing. i have to see this movie again. i can't wait til i can buy it :biggrin: :jump: :thumbsup: :dance2:

a few months ago, i rented the video "Life as a House" and i thought he was brilliant in it..... after seeing him in that, i couldn't wait to see him in other movies....that kid is TALENTED!!:uhoh: :smokin:

i don't remember which site it was.....i was looking at a bunch of them.....

you ever watch a movie and see an unknown actor and go "WHO is that???" well, that's what happened when i saw "Life as a House" (my sister just saw it last week and said "omigod WHO is the actor who plays the kid....he's awesome!!")

in this movie, hayden plays this rebellious very f*cked up teenage kid who hates everybody (he does it SO well omigod)........it's hard to play "angry" AND look really hurt and vulnerable at the same time....not many actors (esp. young actors) can pull it off so naturally....he nailed it, as if he weren't acting! i swear, he MADE the movie! meanwhile, it's really about kevin kline's character (hayden's father in the movie)......

go see it and tell me what you think...... :)

I saw it last night and I gotta agree...the movie is great. Soooooo much better than Phantom Menace. Yoda's scenes were freakin' awesome, everyone was cheering. It was such a great movie. Have I mentioned that it's a great movie???

Um..YEOW!! Anakin/Hayden is hella fine. The look on his face sometimes...oohh man. HOT! Although, I'd still take Ewan McGreggor over Hayden. :love:

that's why i'm looking for some pics from the movie cause OMIGOD with some of his looks, i was drooling lol i've never heard of him before this movie. i was seriously impressed!
