Chipper Jones shagged fly balls in left field before
Tuesday's game at Turner Field, leading the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution to speculate that a trade could be in
the works. No, they wouldn't dare trade Chipper; but if the
Braves pick up another first baseman -- say, Fred McGriff
-- they might move Wes Helms back to third base. They
also have interest in Cincinnati's Dmitri Young as well as
Rangers Andres Galarraga and Ken Caminiti. Jones'
defense at third is also a factor; he committed 25 errors at
third base last year. He ranks in the middle of the pack
among NL third baseman with nine errors this season.

I agree he is a mediocre third baseman. The Braves have had him working if left field before games for a few days acording to the Braves announcers. I like the move & hope it happens, Chipper came up as an outfielder before he got hurt. I don't want Galarraga because in September he will be tired and not be able to hit the high fastball.
