Game 5 was back in Philly, without a doubt. The Sixers play so much better at home. And especially with Philly fans, the Celtics wouldn't stand a chance~!

Did you even see Game 5? Celts won by 30 points. Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda, they didn't.

BTW-Bring the championship back to Jersey you say?

When was it ever there?

Don't worry. I'm sure the refs will favor the Celtics, just like they do every year with the "best market" team left!

Everbody complains about the refs. They are equally terrible for the most part.

pp, didn't NY/NJ (not the MLS team) win an ABA title?

Trust me, i'm the last person to complain about any officiating, but if you watch the playoffs, every year you know who's favored by the league, by who get's the calls. Some are so obvious it's not funny.

I wouldn't argue that the league's stars get more calls in their favor than the remaining players, but to say an entire team gets significantly more calls is implying a great deal.

Yeah Trots-The Long Island Nets of the ABA won a championship.

Anyways-Celts won, LIKE I SAID:biggrin: I sat next to a big Tiger fan from Detroit all night. Great guy! Reminded me of you Trots!

Yes, nice BIG win for the C's yesterday. I couldn't imagine them coming back from a 2-0 deficit, especially after the way they played Game One, so the "W" was huge, imo.

They did play much better defense and rebounded much, much better. It was day and night between games. Pierce is starting to worry me, though. He just can't keep missing free throws. I'm confident his scoring touch will return, but you can't miss those freebies. He's got to be able to hit them late, particularly in close contests.

Thankfully, Antoine got hot just in time Tuesday. He was invisible in the first half, except for on the boards. Both the C's big guns still worry me. They just force way too much action for my taste, but I am trying to accept this new style of play. They both could talk a little less trash, too. You win a title or two, yoy can talk some. Making one little playoff run (and in Celtics' history this is a "little" playoff run) after not qualifying for years and you should let the scoreboard do most of the yapping. I know, I'm old school.

Regardless, I'm happy to have the series tied heading back to the Fleet Center (almost said The Garden). Let's go C's!

PS- thanks for the compliment, pp.
