So this is something I found at indians.com that I would share here. These are awards given out for fun after each Tribe game.

GAME #44 FINAL SCORE = DETORIT 4 - CLEVELAND 3 (at Detroit) WP: JULIO SANTANA LP: RINCON SAVE: WALKER

BASEBALLS TO:

Chris Trudy - gets his first hit as a Tiger and does some nice glove work. Key stop and throw in the 7th on a Travis Fryman screamer to end the inning and prevent a run from scoring.
Bobby Higginson - 2 hits, a single and stolen base in the first to set up the first run.
Dmitiri Young - 3 for 4, but it looked like you were getting hits all night.
Randall Simon - 2 hits to keep innings going
Wendell Magee - 2 for 4 with the game winning RBI in the 7th.
Julio Santana - 2 shutout innings for the win in relief
Bartolo Colon - 6 IP and 2 runs, 7 K's. Hurt by lack of offensive support (Again!)
Ellis Burks - Homer, 1 infield hit
Jolbert Cabrera - broke an 0 for 28 vs. right handers with a 2 RBI single. The hit, however, came from going into protect mode with two strikes. But maybe you ought to learn something from that and finally shorten your swing. You are NOT Bonds!

GOOFBALLS TO:

Matt Lawton - 0 for 4 and appropriately ending the game with a GDP, 4-6-3. A MLB leading #53! I've got a special goofball award for you below, too.
Ellis Burks - hit into two GDP's! (#51 and #52)
Travis Fryman - key error on grounder in the 7th to allow the Tigers to tie
Ricardo Rincon - comes in relief in the 7th and promptly walks the leadoff batter to set up the game winners for Detroit. Did you think you were the "set-up man" for the Tigers?
Indians Offense - Boooooooooooo! Now "batting" .153 with bases loaded! Along with all the other usual sins and offenses we've witnessed the last 4 weeks. 4 more GDP's! Leading the MLB with 53. Yes, that is very offensive.

BASEBALL-GOOFBALL-BASEBALL-GOOFBALL- Triple Play AWARD!

This one goes as follows: Tiger hitter Ramon Santiago gets a BASEBALL as he lines one to right. Matt Lawton gets a GOOFBALL for turning after the ball every which way but loose. He gets another GOOFBALL for missing the cut-off man on the relay. Meanwhile, Santiago earns a BASEBALL for his triple, but then earns a GOOFBALL for trying to score an inside the park home run! The peg home by Vizquel beat him by 7 feet. Vizquel gets the Baseball for the throw.

The Tigers are the hottest team in baseball, because that's what it takes to beat the Tribe  So, a new team becomes the hottest team every three games or so.

It's so horrible, the Tribe just can't get anything going. It's disheartening since I've become so used to a high-octane offense and now they have been decimated to an offense who is lucky to get one run on the board. It's sad.
