The Tigers have now one 8 out of their last ten games after Mark Redmans 4-hit gem today. They are also 8-2 since trading for Chris Truby. They finally got the right infeild combo, with Jackson at second, Santiago at Short, and Truby at third.

It has been quite a difference. It all begins with the Tigers starting pitching. Weaver has been much better in his last two-three starts (including the first Tiger one hitter since '97), Redman tossed a great game today, Bernero was very tough yesterday in 8IP and Greisinger continues to battle every night.
The Truby/Santiago left side of the infield has done exactly what it was supposed to do: play better defense. While Truby has been a bit disappointing with his bat, Santiago has been a bit of a surprise. He knocked one off the 375 ft. sign in right field at Comiskey over the weekend, showing me more pop than I thought he had. He has been very solid.
Let's hope this improvement continues.

Greisingers been a huge boost for this team. He pitches like a veteran, even though he's only pitched a hand full of major league games. I can't wait till Moehler comes back!
I'm kind of worried though, that when Easley comes back, that they will lose their edge, which i can really see happening. If i were GM, i'd dump Easley, Palmer, and Halter, and get whatever you can for them.

That what a few trades can give you. 8-10 thats great I guess that lucky week has come for the Tigers. If they can keep this up they'll be able to atleast reach the playoffs whats their record I know it's not 8-16.j/k
