Mark Teixeira in extended Spring Training

Third baseman Mark Teixeira has started to participate in extended Spring Training games. Teixeira, who has been sidelined all season with a partial tear of the ligament and tendon in his left elbow, went 3-for-7 with a double, a triple, and two walks on Monday. It is good news. Maybe we can have a real 3rd baseman this season. I think if the season continues the way it is we will see Mark before the All-Star break.
