Marlins Josh Beckett goes on the DL

Marlins manager Jeff Torborg has said that the blister on Josh Beckett's right middle finger that forced him to the disabled list earlier this year will probably be with him for his career. In Wednesday's loss to the Reds, neither pitcher nor manager were blaming the blistered finger as the cause of Beckett's ineffectiveness on the mound.
