The Lakers dominated??? Far from it. No team dominated last night. The only players who dominated were Shaq and Webber.

The best series in NBA history? That's really going overboard.

Well I can not say the best but one of the best whatever the outcome!

I think that's even going a bit far. It's been the best playoff series this year, no doubt. And it may have been the best playoff series post 2000. But it's not one of the best in NBA history.

Chicago/Indiana in 1998 was good. The 98 Finals was good too :)

its a matter of opinion, but its hard to go against a series that included for of the games biggest stars at the time, and ever! and the way both series ended made them that much better.

that series was GREAT! it was so exciting because the Jazz came so close to winning...the Bulls lost in OT in game 1, the Bulls were a made three pointer away from winning Game 5, and the Jazz were (*tear*) a non-steal away from winning Game 6. The way it finished sums up how the entire series went.

The current Lakers/Kings series is marred by bad officiating. there were several games where the officiating was awful, Game 6 being the worst. as far as i can remember, in the 98 finals the officiating was very good. there was no controversy surrounding wins...and heck, if there were conspiracies back then like there are today, the officials woulda made the Jazz win Game 6 to set up the ULTIMATE Game 7 in the Delta Center. imagine the storylines: Jordan's and the Bull's last hurrah vs. Stockton's and Malone's last chance...that woulda drawn a hell of a lot of viewers! unfortunately, that didn't happen :crying2:

The best NBA playoff series ever had to be Celtics/Lakers in 1969.
