Rodrigo Lopez carried a shutout into the 9th inning!!!

He gets the win, Jorge Julio gets the save. It was a little stomach-wrenching there in the 9th, even watching it on ESPN GameCast. :uhoh: Mighty Mel Mora hit two homeruns! (The first multi-homer game in his career!) Gibby hit a leadoff double in the 7th and scored on a Tony B single. The lovely young Brian Roberts :luvkiss: hit a homerun in the 8th!!

Bordy went 0 for 3 :ohno: .....His batting avg. is at .226 :itsok:

Tony B had an error on a ground ball, and Chris Singleton bobbled a ball in the 9th. :uhoh:

HEY!!! THAT WAS BRIAN ROBERTS' FIRST HOMERUN!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!! :clap1: :cooldude:

Looked like a good game!!!

Didn't Brian Roberts have at least 1 HR last year? Whatever! Great great great win for those amazing O's!! We can win 5 of 6 on this homestand!!

R.Lo pulled through for us yet again! He is my man!! :) Anyway I'm glad Julio got another save... his confidence musta been pretty low after that rough stretch he had last month.

GO ORIOLES!!!

OOPS! Yes. He had 2 last year.

I really meant his first of the season... he came up and went back down a couple of times last season, and I was so upset by Bordy going down in the middle of the season last year I didn't pay much attention to what Brian Roberts did.

But he sure is making me pay attention this year!!! :uhoh:

I'm so happy for Lopez. I'm sure he wanted to complete the game, but I hear he got a huge standing O when he left the game.

:clap1:

And good for Julio!!! :clap1: :clap1: :clap1:

Nice avatar, by the way.

The shutout into the ninth was not much of a surprise to me , because the Dodger offense has been inconsistent all year long. The Dodgers simply need stronger bats in the lineup.
