<b>News</b>
The Associated Press reports that Brewers reliever Curtis Leskanic (http://bigleaguers.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5/5068/) has shut down his rehab throwing program until at least Monday. He developed soreness in his surgically repaired shoulder after throwing on consecutive days on two occasions in his minor league rehab assignment last week. Leskanic was given a cortisone injection to treat the pain. He has been on the DL all year, as a result of offseason surgery to repair his labrum and rotator cuff.

The Brewers could sure use a healthy Leskanic...actually they could use a lot of things, including a few more fans in the seat. We digress. Mike Dejean (http://bigleaguers.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5/5803/) isn't pitching too well of late and Chad Fox (http://bigleaguers.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5/5850/) still isn't all the way back. Unfortunately it appears Leskanic is no threat to be closing games for the Brewers any time soon.
