TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Oakland Raiders' kicker Sebastian Janikowski has a June 18 appearance scheduled in Leon County Court on a reckless driving charge.
Police say that he was ticketed early on May 18 after being pulled over in a maroon Mercedes. There was no other information on the citation.
Leon County records show Janikowski has been cited at least seven other times, including three in Tallahassee.
He was found innocent April 11, 2001, on charges of drug possession. Ten months earlier he was also found innocent on charges he tried to bribe a police officer.
The Polish-born kicker was Oakland's first round pick in the 2000 NFL draft.
