Anyone care to take a gander on who's going to win the Conn Smythe trophy (playoff MVP)? This is assuming the Wings manage to wrap the series up in the next game or two.

I've got to give my vote to Brett Hull. He has come up with some HUGE goals.

Hull would get my vote, too. Generally, the people around here have it down to five: Hull, Yzerman, Hasek, Lidstrom and Fedorov. Lidstrom for being so good and getting so much ice time, Yzerman for leading the team in points while on one bad knee, Hull for the big goals and much better overall play than most thought he was capable of, Hasek for the six shutouts and Fedorov for being the best player on the ice (in their opinions).

The majority lean toward The Captain or Hasek.

Con smythe this year is going to Stevie Y. He has been a heck of a leader on this team and is playing still extremely well with one bad wheel. he is doing with defense as well as scoring too.

I think it will go to Hasek, i think it should go to Hull, or even Liodstrom. Several other smaller names who deserve it, are Jiri Fischer, Kurt Maltby, or Darren McCarty.

I will be happy if anyone but Hasek wins it...

Especially if that anyone happens to be ronnie francis...

I think Hull will win it, but I'd vote for Fedorov at this point.

Really? Fedorov? I haven't heard much from him.

Lots of people like Fedorov. He's scored in every single game in the finals, has played great defense on everybody. If the Wings win tonight, this game will be a major factor in determining MVP. If one of the forwards gets a couple of goals, or Hasek tosses a shutout, those type of things could sway the vote.

At least one of mu 2 guys got it. But if you think about it, there isn't a guy on this team, who didn't have a huge contibution these playoffs.

He had a pretty good game yesterday.

Yeah he did. I was surprised. I thought he'd be rusty with all of the time he's missed.
