I would have guessed Kidd. Shaq would have been a close second. We all know that Tim dosen't deserve it

I think Duncan was a fine choice for MVP. I would have liked to have seen Kidd won, but Duncan did deserve to win. The Spurs would have been nothing without him.

MVP, to me, is not awarding just how good you are. it awards how much better you make your team. so without duncan, the spurs would probably be one of the last place teams. without shaq, the lakers would still be a pretty good team(although i doubt theyd win the title). thats why i dont think shaq should have really won it. I would have voted for kidd, but i am not going to argue with Duncan winning it.

Shaq was hurt a good portion of the year. I think Duncan, or Kidd would of been a good choice. I problably would of voted Kidd though.

If Shaq wasn't injured he'd probably be a serious contender for the MVP, but he played only 67 games. plus, the Lakers have Kobe to carry the team when he's gone. Without Kidd and Duncan, the Nets and Spurs would be lottery teams, but with them they're two of the best teams in their conferences. They're both valuable to their teams, but Duncan statistically had a better regular season, and probably the best season in the League. i'd say he deserved it.
