I think we should rename the team the "spankers". Know why? Because we always whip up on the spankees! Anyway, we have a winning record against them this season. And we kept the hope for a sweep alive! Oh yeah this team excites me. We are 1 game within .500 and are on pace for more than 80 wins.

I love the way this team plays. They never give up, they're scrappy, I think they have Joe Torre totally flummoxed.

I just hope the game isn't sold out... I tried looking for tix on ticketmaster today and there seemed to be a shortage. We are just planning to get the tickets at the box office so hopefully we can get some seats that don't suck too bad. But in OPACY there are not really any bad seats, so its ok.

Oh yeah, and I won't be home until pretty late tomorrow night. We have to take the bus back and then I have to drive my friend home. Depending on how late it is, I may have to delay the report until Friday. I have to sleep you know!

Do they ever do the deal where if there are seats from certain plans that haven't sold, they release them a few hours before the game? Sometimes we've been lucky at Shea Stadium that way. Say, on Opening Day, it was supposedly sold out, but I got there at about 3 hours early and they had just released some of the seats that included Opening Day in season ticket plans... leftover plans that weren't sold. Do the O's do that?

Hmmm... I haven't heard of anything like that here, but its quite possible that the O's do it. I know that sometimes season ticket holders return their tickets to the Box Office for a refund and the O's resell the tix. Those tickets are usually released pretty soon before game time.
