Here's the recap! Looks like JJ pitched one heckuva game. And Gary Matthews Jr. ! :uhoh: HOW HOT IS HIS BAT?!?!?!? WHOA!!! Chris Singleton isn't looking too shabby either! :uhoh: And Mighty Mel Mora hit another lead-off homer... did the same thing last night! :uhoh:
Wow. That's all I can say. Wow.

Johnson throws third career complete game
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Gary Matthews Jr. had a career-high five hits, including a two-run homer, and Jason Johnson pitched a six-hitter as the Baltimore Orioles routed the Philadelphia Phillies 11-1 on Saturday night.
Johnson (3-5) allowed one run and scattered six hits in his first complete game of the season, and third of his career. He struck out five and walked one.
The victory snapped a two-game losing streak and gave the Orioles a 14-12 record in June with one game remaining. Baltimore had not finished above .500 in a month since going 14-10 to begin the 2000 season.
Melvin Mora hit a leadoff homer for the second straight game and Tony Batista had four hits and two RBI for Baltimore, which matched a season-high with 18 hits.
Bobby Abreu homered for Philadelphia, which had won four of five.
Phillies starter Vicente Padilla (10-5), who had won four straight decisions, lost for the first time since May 26. He gave up 10 hits, five runs, walked none and struck out two in four innings -- his shortest outing of the year.
After Mora led off with his 11th homer to give the Orioles a 1-0 lead in the first, Baltimore batted around in the second against Padilla, scoring four times for a 5-0 lead.
Chris Singleton led off with an infield single and moved to second on Mike Bordick's single one out later. After Mora popped out, Brian Roberts hit a two-run double into the right-field corner, then scored on second baseman Marlon Anderson's errant relay throw home. Matthews then doubled to left and scored on Batista's RBI single.
Abreu homered to right to lead off the third.
In the fifth, Singleton tripled off reliever David Coggin and scored on Gil's RBI single.
Batista hit an RBI single and Singleton a two-run single in the sixth. Matthews homered off Rheal Cormier in the seventh.
Game notes
Due to an official scorer's decision, Phillies OF Ricky Ledee will get credit for a double in the seventh inning of Friday's game. The play had originally been ruled a two-base error by Singleton. ... Mora is the first Orioles player to lead off consecutive games with a homer since Brady Anderson did it in both ends of a doubleheader on Aug. 21, 1999. ... Abreu has hit safely in 19 of 22 games. ... The crowd of 48,692 was the third consecutive sellout at Camden Yards.
