If Tank's playing, I want him to do well, but other than that, I want all NL East teams (with one exception, of course!) to LOSE!

Okay. Here's an update. O's lead, 4-0, top of the 4th.

Sid's out of the game. He's got a big ol' blister on his finger, so Chris Brock came in, the top of the 3rd. And he got a groundout, second batter singled, but the 3rd hit into a double play.

O's scored their runs thisaway:
Bottom of the 2nd, Brook Fordyce, catching today instead of Geronimo :ohno: (I have a huge crush on Geronimo... :lust: ).... anyhoo, 4dyce doubled, scoring Gibby, and Marvelous Marty Cordova moved to 3rd, then Bordy :lust: hit a sac fly, scoring Marvelous Marty.

Bottom of the 3rd, Tony B homered, scoring himself and Gritty Gary Matthews, who had doubled just before him.

So, here we are, top of the 4th, and..... oh no...... sh*t. On 2 outs, Chris Brock just gave up a double to Scott Rolen, which scored Pat Burrell, who had walked, and Bobby Abreu, who had singled. And then Travis Lee singled, scoring Scott Rolen. Nuts.

Okay. 3rd out. Travis Lee was thrown out at home after Mike Lieberthal singled to center. I would have liked to have seen that play......

SO, COME ON, O'S!!!!! GET SOME MORE RUNS HERE!!!!! WE NEED A CUSHION HERE!!! CHRIS BROCK IS NO SID!!!!

Oh-oh. :ummm: Top of the 5th. BJ Ryan in to pitch for the O's. The guy's been struggling. This should be high drama.....

Yes, that's good! He sets down Marlon Anderson looking.

Now he's pitching to Ricky Ledee..... and Ricky Ledee strikes out swinging.

Yikes! One more, BJ!!!!!

Wow. What an at-bat Jimmy Rollins is having :uhoh: He took the first strike looking, then he fouled off 4 pitches, then he let a ball go by, then he fouled off 3 more, then another ball went by, so the count was 2 and 2, and he ended up popping out to shallow center on the 12th pitch!!!

WAY TO GO, BJ!!!!!!!!!

This'll do huge things for his confidence!!!! :jump: :jump:

HERE COME THE O'S!!!

Oh no. :ummm: Score is now knotted up at 4. Scott Rolen..... you know, he's on my Fantasy Team, but I don't care...... grrrrrrrr...... :hammer: ......... anyhoo, Scott Rolen just scored Bobby Abreu, who's also on my fantasy team, but "grrrrrrrr"..... BJ had walked Abreu, and gotten Burrell to fly out, then Bowa pinch-hit for Jeremy Giambi, so Grover countered with Rick Bauer pitching for BJ. Now Yorkis Perez  is relieving Rick Bauer, and he got Travis Lee to pop out, so there are two out.

Please. Just end this inning with no more runs. Oh, poop. Bases loaded for Marlon Anderson, 2 out.

COME ON, YORKIS!!!!!!! GET 'IM OUT!!!

Dang. Marlon Anderson safe at 1st on an error by 4dyce. Score is now 5-4, Phillies.

Come on, Yorkis. Just one more out. And give it over to the guys who hit...... come on..... just get out of this.

Oh, dang again. Ricky Ledee is safe at 1st on an error by the pitcher. ENOUGH WITH THE BLASTED ERRORS!!!!!! COME ON!!!! *sigh* score is now 6-4, Phillies.

Well, finally. The nightmare inning is over. Jimmy Rollins struck out swing.

Geesh. I hate stuff like that.

Okay. Time to get this back. Let's see. Who's up?

Oooh. Top of the lineup.

Mighty Mel
Cutie Brian Roberts
Gutsy Gary Matthews Jr.

Oh, great. :hmm: Phillies pitcher set them down 1-2-3.

And now, top of the 7th, Bobby Abreu doubled, Willis Roberts came in to relieve Yorkis (thank you)... and he strikes out Pat Burrell. 1 out.

I know these guys can do this - oh, right. Just as I was writing that, Jason Michaels singles and scores Abreu. :hmm:

*sigh* 7-4, Phillies, 1 out.

Hmmm. I wonder what will happen. Because I have to go. I'll just have to check in later, won't I?!

COME ON, O'S!!!!!! WIN THIS GAME!!!

Too bad the Braves completed the sweep of the Red Sox. Thats a shame.
