YOU ARE ALL IDOTS! How in the blue hell can you give up Mondise for a minor league pitcher? Ok I understand the chopping down salary thing but then if you agree to take on most of the players salary your giving up then you can't atleast get another ML OF? Someone should go down to the Comish's office and put this teams name in the hat for contraction since we all know that contraction is not going to happen this centery. I hope you have enjoyied my venting for the day. :) :uhoh: :) :) :barf:

The Blue Jays traded away Mondesi for a Minor Leauge Pitcher. At first, when hearing this everybody jumps to the conclusion that this trade was highly lopsided to the Yankees side. The Blue Jays know that they are not going to win in the next 2-3 years. The GM of the Blue Jays stated that his goal is to rebuild this team and make it into a winner. At first I thought the Blue Jays got ripped off but they didn't. Mondesi is an average player with a hefty salary.

Vulture, I see your poit and I agree but my only problem is that I feel that the Jays jumped the gun too early on this trade....What I mean is that I feel the Jays still could have gotten more for Mondesi than they did...Also I have a problem with them trading a guy who can be quality to another division rival....

You bring up some good points man. Mondesi has underachieved since he got to Toronto. C'mon he was traded for a guy who hit 49 homers last year (Shawn Green). We also have no clue how good this minor leaguer is. He could be the next Randy Johnson for what we know. The Yankees are known to have a good farm system. I also have faith that J.P. Ricchardi (GM of Blue Jays) can turn Toronto into a legit threath in MLB in 5 years. After all he did turn around the Oakland A's from a pittiful joke to a major contender.
