Jay Gibbons of the Baltimore Orioles broke thr MLB record for most homeruns in a night. The previous record was 57, and 62 were hit last night.

Personally, I'm not excited at all this record was broken. It's pretty pathetic when there's only one game where not one homerun was hit. And 12 homeruns in one game? That shouldn't happen.

That sure is a hell of a lot of homeruns by Gibbons....Think he'll break Bonds single season record???:hahaha:

No, I don't think he'll break the MLB record. He's bound to go into a slump sometime.

it is pretty pathetic, but im glad the sox broke the single game record!!:biggrin: (pathetic as it may be)

Im expecting the Cubs to give up 12 home runs in a game sooner or later. :( nothing shocks me anymore with them!
