My goodness... after my crazy 3rd and 4th of July, things have only gotten crazier. Friday, I went to work at 5pm... I worked until midnight... Then, I went and drank and played horseshoes until 4:30. This would be nothing unusual, per se, except for the fact that while at work, my friend, Amber, had called me and asked me to go on a canoe trip with her and a bunch of friends. I had said yes, and had to meet her at 6am. So, I slept for an hour, then met her. We spent about 7 hours on the Allegheny River in 85 degree heat. I now look like a Racoon from my sunglasses.

I never realized how badly my torn rotater cuff would hurt after a canoe ride like that. We had to get out and walk the canoes for about a mile at one point because the river was so low. During that time, I cut my toe on a roak. It now has a nice big gash in it, and I can barely walk. I am too exhausted to sleep. I am burning up.

Ok,,.. I am done whining now. :crying2:

But the real question is, did you "go yard" while on the canoe trip? Is Amber her real name or her stage name?

uhh.. yes... Amber IS her real name...

EVen if I had had time to "go yard," I was totally exhausted by the time the trip was over. I couldn't even move.

Just checking ;) Us old heads gotta live vicariously through you young dudes. I can't say that I've EVER been too tired though.

Saw Faster Pussycat, Winger, Cinderella and Poison July 5 in Hartford. My 18 year old daughter took me for Father's Day. A good show. Cinderella was amazing. Tom Keifer still kicks it.

well, last night, my body was giving off so much heat that people at work could not even stand next to me. There is no way that anyone could have touched me without me completely screaming. You would not believe how badly I hurt.

I would have loved to see that concert. haha.. I am looking at seeing Warrant here in Pittsburgh sometime next month, but I don't know yet.
