Which Rookie Pitcher to pick up

Which rookie starting pitcher will have better stats over the second half: Jake Peavy (SD), Oliver Pered (SD), or Michael Tejera (FLA).

I'd go with Perez although all three are very good young pitchers.

I'd have to go with Peavy or Perez.

Peavy is a prospect with a lot of buzz surrounding him ... just remember when it comes to rookie pitchers, patience is a virtue ... they will have bad outings, but the guys you mentioned all look solid.

the one thing tejera has is a first half of experience behind him ... that also means the hitters have seen him a couple times - it will be interesting to see how he adjusts - he may have a lot more pressure on him if the Marlins trade Dempster or Penny

Perez, he has had a couple of great starts lately, Peavy has the high expectations on him and Tejera won't have an offense to score runs to win ballgames for him......
