The Red Sox activated LHP Pete Schourek from the 15-day DL on July 22. Boston also recalled 26-year-old RHP Carlos Castillo from Triple-A Pawtucket, designated RHP Bryce Florie for assignment and optioned Sun-Woo Kim to Pawtucket.
