R-PHILS 2005 SCHEDULE IS ANNOUNCED
FirstEnergy Stadium The Eastern League of Professional Baseball has announced the Reading Phillies 142-game schedule for the 2005 season.
Reading will begin its 39th season at home on Thursday, April 7 vs. the Altoona Curve (Pirates). All other affiliations will also remain the same as this past season.
The E.L. has adopted an unbalanced format for its 2005 season. The breakdown of Readings 2005 schedule vs. each team in the E.L.:

In 2004, The Reading Phillies played southern Division opponents 20 times (10 home, 10 away) and Northern Division foes either six (3/3) or eight times (4/4). Reading plays in the Southern Division.
The R-Phils are home for 11 weekends, the 4th of July, Mothers Day (5/8) and Fathers Day (6/19).
Game times for 2005 have not been determined. The schedule will be re-released when they are determined.
