CC Carpet Flooring & Design Center in Arlington, TX had a promotion running that if Texas Rangers slugger and reigning AL MVP Josh Hamilton hit a Grand Slam in September all purchases for the month would be free.

Seemed like a pretty decent bet for CC Carpet since Hamilton hadn't hit a Grand Slam since 2008.  But, he did it last night as the Rangers beat Cleveland.  He was unexpected scratched from the line-up last Friday night when his wife gave birth to their fourth daughter.

This was just the eighth time he's been up to bat with the bases loaded this season and he's been 1-7 in those attempts.
